Annual Meeting 2008

Woo wee! What a party!
The pictures have been taken, the food eaten, the door prizes given out, the 50” plasma TV won, the decorations un-hung, the floor swept and mopped and the large group of party revelers have returned to their homes tired but happy. It was a great MSFFCU birthday party and annual meeting. The silent auction items (a Starbuck’s gi* card, an iPod, 2 sets of Diamondback tickets, a digital camera) successfully raised funds that will be donated to the Phoenix Children’s Hospital’s One Darn Cool School. And, there were reported sightings of both Elvis Presley and Marilyn Monroe! A send-off was given to Kathy Shanahan. MSFFCU thanked her for the many years of service and bid her farewell. Although retired as CEO of the credit union for a few years now, Kathy has continued to serve MSFFCU as chairperson of the Supervisory Committee. But, she has decided to retire from this as well. Travel plans and time spent with grandchildren are beckoning her.
